...AND THE WINNER IS! YAT MADIT WINS BIG AT UGANDA FILM FESTIVAL

Our well written and well-acted drama series has scooped all the awards in the TV Drama category at the 2017 Uganda Film Festival. It was voted as the Best TV Drama while Michael Wawuyo JR who acted as Opio won the award for Best Actor and Rehema Nanfuka, who acted as Suzanna, won the award for Best Actress.

This was a big win has inspired discussions of a second season which may soon be on Ugandan airwaves. Yat Madit’s main objective is to promote healing, reconciliation and development in post war Northern Uganda through use of film and intercommunity dialogues.
