Yat Madit Series Launched: Premieres on NTV Uganda
Media Focus on Africa Uganda has launched ‘Yat Madit’, the long awaited 13 episode drama series focusing on life after the war in Northern Uganda. The Launch that brought together the series producers, actors, development agencies, the media, MFA, partners and friends was held at Sheraton Hotel Kampala on December 8, 2016.
The series will be airing on NTV Uganda every Thursday at 8 pm. Meanwhile a Radio Drama Series of ‘Yat Madit’ is also airing live on four local radio stations in North and North Eastern Uganda namely; Etop FM, Unity FM, Mega FM and Voice of Karamoja.
‘Yat Madit’ is the key element in the Crossroads Project that aims to promote intercultural dialogue and demonstrate alternative ways of dealing with conflicts in order to have more social cohesion and respect for human and cultural rights. The project is funded by the European Union, in partnership with Interchurch Co-operative for Development Cooperation ( ICCO) and Doen Foundation. It is implemented by Media Focus on Africa in collaboration with Trivision Ltd Uganda.
